About the vacancy

DataArt’s client is a London-based international investor that operates in the private equity market. Our specialists are involved in several of this client’s projects.

We help develop an investment system that helps analyze transactions. This web application (React, Angular, Bootstrap) has a non-proprietary reporting system and built-in test automation.

Another project of the client is an application for their financial department. This service has a wide reporting range (SSRS, SSAS, QlikView). Its migration to modern technologies is planned.

We are also working on a system that helps prepare reports to the tax department. In this project BI professionals use Qlikview to address the reporting challenges.

DataArt’s team in this project consists of 8 people who constantly interact with the technical team on the client side which consists of 20+ technical specialists. The work is SCRUM-based with weekly sprints.

We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Must have

• 2+ years of web development experience
• 2+ years of experience working with React.js
• Experience in developing commercial applications on the .NET platform and C#
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES5, ES6)
• Fundamental knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, HTTP
• Experience with ASP.NET (MVC/WebAPI)
• Understanding of OOP
• Good spoken English

Would be a plus

• Ability to work with version control systems
• Ability to work with CI systems (VSTS, Octopus )
• Experience working with the following frameworks and libraries: Knockout.js, jQuery, Angular
• Knowledge of code testing techniques (including BDD, TDD)
• Experience with EventStore
• Experience with RavenDB
• Experience with NServiceBus
• Experience with Syncfusion PDF, DocIo, XlsIo, Office Interop
• Familiar with MS SQL
