What you will do

• Be accountable for engineering vision including technology and language selection, engineering team composition, development processes, coding standards, test, and release strategies
• Develop architecture and define tech & product roadmap
• Recruit and onboard 3 to 7 engineers in 2021
• Establish standards of performance and lead the engineering team

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering
• 3+ years of managing small teams (up to 15 engineers) with various stack (better in a startup)
• Passion for optimization process and the ability to work under the stress of scaling-up startup (15x Revenue growth for 12 months)

• Strong influencing skills and an ability to take people on a journey to sell in an idea or point of view
• Learning mindset and an ability to systematically break ambiguous problems down and build execution plans

Knowledge & Experience:

• Good knowledge of architecture/design patterns and styles
• Experience working with source control systems, code review systems
• Experience working with debugging/profiling tools, ability to resolve performance issues
• Advanced knowledge in Jira, Scrum
• Fluent English
