About Project 

Project #1 PYGIO is building its own analytics SaaS platform. This will be in the form of a white-label web application that will require both back-end and front-end development. The MVP is built and used by a small number of clients. 

Several Business Units within our banking clients require data science capabilities. Here are some examples of the projects 

Project #2 Build and maintenance of a messaging and communication interface for the entire bank. This system may work across the entire bank's product ecosystem. 

Project #3 Online Banking Portal for one of SA’s big 4 banks. 

Requirements:

• Mysql/persona 5.7 and 8
• Experience with clustering/persona XtraDB clusters
• Strong knowledge of backups and restores.
• In-depth database monitoring experience
• Ansible/automation of database administrations
• Linux administration experience
• Advanced oral and written English

Importantly, the DBA should have serious knowledge of performance monitoring and performance troubleshooting MySQL and persona DB’s

If the candidate is excellent with Postgres and willing to switch to MySQL that should be fine too.
