Poptop is one of the leading event planning platforms in the UK market. We’ve served hundreds of thousands of events in the UK and plan to start scaling internationally in 2021. 

We are now looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to accelerate product development and its optimization.

We expect you:

• have a real experience with latest React and hooks
• have an understanding FRP pattern
• have experience with TypeScript or any statically typed web UI domain language (Kotlin, Dart, Reason, PS) and do understand the pros and cons of static typing
• have a strong knowledge of HTML and CSS outside of React world
• play easily with DOM APIs and can explain in outline how rendering engines work
• like to deliver pro-looking UI components
• have experience with GraphQL / Apollo
• do respect backward compatibility
• do respect code maintainability and performance
• do respect grammar and can ship clear documentations beside of UI components
• have a good knowledge of Docker, Git, Gitlab
• have experience with CI-CD systems

Would be a plus:

• experience in a product company
• design thinking, visual taste, ability to perform simple design tasks without Oleh
• experience with non-Request-response architectures (WebSocket, autobahn.js, gRPC, PubSub)
• experience with RxJS

Your tasks will involve:

• develop new features, using isomorphic TypeScript code
• support old JS code, port to new TypeScript repository
• write unit tests using Jest framework
• write documentation
• take part in decisions of patterns, designing solutions 
• contribute to open source react UI framework in the nearest future
