We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst with BI expertise to lead the development of our analytics platform, driving informed decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency.

Our Corporate Analytics team is designing a platform that enables transformation of Intellias into a data-driven organization. In pursuit of this strategic goal, we are looking for an inspired and dedicated Senior Business Analyst with BI experience to join our friendly and ambitious team of professionals. The main goal of the cooperation is to contribute to the development of a corporate analytics platform for converting corporate data sets into valuable insights that will drive management decisions and increase the efficiency of business processes at Intellias.

What you will do

• Establishing and maintaining processes for requirements gathering for analytical projects.

• Organizing backlog for the development team.

• Conducting BI solution design and prototype building.

• Leading BI projects that require cross-system changes (tight collaboration with internal systems’ Product Owners regarding solution design).

• Maintenance of company BI documentation (Key metrics repository, WIKI, Data catalog).

• Conducting solution demos and education sessions, collaborating with users, and explaining results.

• Exploration and validation of data from various sources, suggesting recommendations for improving data quality in the corporate systems.

• Continuously monitoring the efficiency of existing BI solutions and relevance to ongoing business needs, providing recommendations for improvements.

• Participation in prioritizing further development of the Data Analytical platform.

• Running ad-hoc research and analysis.

• Being proactive and proposing new ideas regarding analytical services.

• Empowering others in the organization to be more self-reliant in their data needs.

What you need for this

Must have skills:

• 7+ years of experience in data, reporting, and analytical problem-solving.

• Proficient in requirements elicitation techniques.

• Good knowledge of modeling tools BPMN, UML.

• Strong SQL skills and experience in working with a data warehouse.

• Understanding ways of data extraction and exchange (JSON, XML, CSV, API).

• Hands-on, practical experience in relational databases, data modeling, and data visualization.

• Experience in Power BI tool (DAX, Power Query, Role-based modeling).

• Expertise in MS Excel: creating formulas, pivot tables, charts, reports, and dashboards.

• Ability to define problems clearly and concisely.

• Understanding statistical analysis methods.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to communicate decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Critical thinking.

• Ability to work with ambiguity and a fast-changing environment in a fast-growing company.

• English upper intermediate.

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Data Science, Big Data, Python

• Experience with Azure ecosystem.
